Clams Parlourde Live
We are delighted to be able to offer our customers these wonderfully plump Parlourde, or Manila, Clams, which we get from our friends at the The Dorset Shellfish company. This fantastic, ethically-driven company was set up by licensed fishermen with over 15 years in the trade, fishing from the 3rd largest natural harbour in the world, Poole harbour, a shallow inter-tidal harbour which boasts the only established wild Manila clams fishery in the Uk. Most of Poole harbour is only a couple of metres deep, but being muddy it provides the perfect habitat for clams & cockles to thrive.
We offer these tasty little shellfish nuggets in 800g nets.
