Brill has a similar firm texture and meaty flavour to it's better know cousin Turbot, and we think it is a superb fish in its own right. Others seem to agree as the price difference between Brill and Turbot has fallen to between £2 and £4 per kg at market. We offer whole fish that weigh approximately 1.5 kg, and we can send this whole or trimmed and tranched. One fish will work as a starter for 8 - 10 or a main course for 4 - 5, and is an exceptional dinner party special!

Brill works beautifully roasted whole on the bone. Why not try this as a healthy alternative for a family Sunday roast? Brill is a firm and quite meaty dish and works well with herbs like rosemary, thyme and tarragon. Serve with roasted new potatoes, vine tomatoes, red onion and peppers.
