Vanilla Clotted Cream Tart with Basil Sugar What’s more Cornish than clotted cream? Not much, and we thought it was about time it took centre stage in a dessert rather than being on the side. Our chefs have created a beautiful showcase for it in these posh little tarts, all balanced with a fruity finish. Each sweet pastry case is filled with Cornish clotted cream, double cream, real vanilla and rich egg. Serve just as they come, or as per our serving suggestion (see image), with fresh strawberries, coated in the delicious basil sugar (included) to lift the lot to a new level. Just gorgeous.
