We’ve paired two of Cornwall’s most glorious food traditions into one picnic-friendly feast, just in time for outdoor adventures, or even a cheering work-from-home lunch! Our Seafood Kitchen chefs, here in Cornwall, have taken sweet and delicate brown and white crab meat, from our local pot-caught Cornish crabs and gently stirred it into a flavourful, handmade bechamel sauce with savoury leeks, layered with an umami hit from parmesan alongside the creamy texture of mozzarella. All that taste and texture, packed into classic shortcrust pastry for the ultimate Cornish seafood pasty. Better still, we’re selling them in packs of four, so you’ll have plenty to go round.

They are also simple to prepare: cook them from frozen for 50 minutes, in an oven pre-heated to 180C.

Phoned the next day to say the same about the kippers and  then sent pictures on Facebook to show the fish which she had cooked with  black butter!

Delighted to receive our combination box on time and it is always exciting to open it and to plan a few menus using the delicious sauces. Homemade fish pie tonight! Delighted to see that you are moving towards ready cooked meals and the crab bake was great for lunch for a single person. We will be repeating that order and I would have thought there was a big market for you in these products, particularly single portions for OAPs who want something to pop into the Aga.
