It is another species, like its close relative Cod, enjoys chilly waters of the North Atlantic Ocean waters, and when compared to Cod stocks around Cornwall are doing much better. Haddock has a sweet flavour and a fine texture, and we love cooking it as home made fish & chips. As a clean white fish, it is a high protein and low calorie fish.
