Cornish Sardines (Butterfly)
Cornish Sardines are delicious silvery fish and a great source of Omega 3 oils. They are sustainably caught using ring net method. Ring nets are encircling nets used to catch midwater fish such as sardine, and anchovy. They are set around a shoal and a drawstring rope on the bottom of the net is pulled so the fish can’t escape. Sardines are caught fresh, hand prepared then blast frozen to keep the fish separated for easy use straight from the freezer.
