A real seafood centrepiece - perfect for a meat-free roast on Sunday! Created by our talented development chefs, Brett & Stuart, and handmade in small batches by the Seafood Kitchen team.
A delicate layer of our beautiful Scottish smoked salmon surrounds sustainable Cornish plaice and an inner core of Cornish hake, chestnut and cranberry stuffing, presented in an elegant layered slice. The rich and earthy gravy is a beautiful accompaniment, made with port, porcini mushrooms, red wine and our own hand made Cornish fish stock.

You will receive:
1 x three fish roast steak (slice into two or serve as a single steak) (supplied frozen)
1 x port & porcini fish gravy (supplied frozen)

To cook simply:

  • Oil and season the steak
  • Preheat the oven to 180C
  • Brown each side briefly in a pan for 2 minutes or until golden brown
  • Place onto a baking tray and into the oven for 6 minutes
  • Warm the gravy gently in a small saucepan.
  • Serve with traditional roast trimmings as a single portion.

Gravy: Red Wine (SULPHITES), Port (SULPHITES), Fish Stock (FISH bones, Carrot, Fennel, CELERY, Shallot, herbs), Shallot, Carrot, CELERY, Fennel, BUTTER, Flour (GLUTEN), Oil, Porcini Mushroom, Bayleaf, Thyme, Tomato Puree.

The freshest we have had for absolutely ages

The fish was all super fresh!

Yes, the fish all arrived in perfect condition early on Friday morning. The smoked mackerel, salmon, halibut and wild sea bass were all delicious - bream and plaice now in the freezer - and I have received many compliments from my guests over the weekend. Like to think some of the compliments were for my cooking(!) but the fish was all top quality and super fresh. Have passed your details to one of my friends as well.
