Devilled Fish Recipe

INGREDIENTS FOR
or ... x Cod Fillet, (weight after skinning and pin-boning)

x dash lemon or lime juice
salt and pepper
30
g butter
2
x 5ml spoon Worcestershire or brown sauce
1
x 5ml spoon mustard
1
x 5ml spoon light brown sugar
Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F, Gas Mark 6

1. Place each fillet onto a large foil square. Add the lemon or lime juice and seasoning.

2. In a small bowl mix the remaining ingredients together and brush over each fillet.

3. Seal each foil square to form a parcel and place onto a baking tray. Cook for 15-20 minutes.

4. Serve with jacket potatoes or chips and green vegetables.



MICROWAVE METHOD

Place the fish into a suitable dish. In a small bowl mix the remaining ingredients together and brush over the fish. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3-4 minutes (6-7 if frozen). Season and serve with jacket potatoes or chips and vegetables.
