Sustainable Seabream

This beautiful fish is delicious, with bright silver skin and a wildly delicious creamy white flesh. It is very versatile and works well whether cooked whole or as fillets.

We only sell wild seabream, and never the imported, farmed alternative which has numerous sustainability issues including the ethics of what the farmed fish are fed, damage to local marine ecosystems (typically in Greece and Turkey), and the carbon footprint of transport to the UK.

We feel it makes no sense that as a nation we export 80% of the seafood we land and import 80%. We should be enjoying what we have here on our shores, so we encourage you to try wild seabream from UK waters, or tasty local alternatives.
